You stay up all night looking for videos of trucks that may be better than yours. Also when you buy your girlfriend a rc truck that you know she will never use and you hope you will get to use it for her.

Buy her a MT then get a small or big box of chocolates tie it to the top of the truck and then give it to her.
You know it would look better. But hey if you spend money on the chocolate then where are you going to get the money for the fuel.
Hmm i guess you will just have to forget about the chocolate!

LMAO..classic guy thing..I lost thereciept!
My LHS asks for reciepts for returns.. unless its me.. lol

If I were to get married..heres how I'd break her in..

the first thing I'd do is buy her a 66 Mustang and teach her how to "DRIVE".. no.. its not drive.. its "DRIVE!" lol. On the other hand.. no nevermind.. she aint touchin that..lol

Then after making her fall in love with vehicles in general.. I'd take care of the rest Then I'll make it clear that my "toy department" will require a premium of $100 a month! (trying to be nice!). That should work well!
(watch me turn into one of those "yes dear..I'll get it done" people)
Now I gotta go find $200 more to buy that Rossi motor!
I'm gonna start with the couch!

My Brother & his wife (after 20 yrs) play each other like a fiddle.

After I got my MT, she told him that he couldn't get one. After 3 days of pouting.... she gave in. But thats not the end of the story. He tells her that he was disappointed with her because it took 3 whole days of pouting....

Now the best part.

My brother picks up an R/C Mag and reads about the Associated MonsterGT and tells me that he is getting one (he already has a TMAXX). I kept telling him that he can run it with the rest of the TMAXXes in our group. Then his wife chimes in..... "Honey, if you pay off the living room and new tv then you can get one". I almost fell over !!! and then realized that she played HIM.

I guess I better start saving my money for a MonsterGT too. I hate it when my big bro gets bigger toys than me

The scary thing is that 95% of it is true for 95% of us on this forum. I have some stories of my own...real quick b/c i have to go to work.

I asked my wife the other day if she knew how much i had "invested" into my savage... I said, you think that i have $750. She said "if you have that much, you better look like paying for part of these new sofas!" My reply was, " Well, I don't have that much...yet"

Another... Pyroman had just finished installing a new pipe, we were just looking at it... nice looking... wanted to hear it... way to late & cold outside... so i say to him "Let's crank it up" he says "in here?" I say "yeah, watch this." My wife is in the other room preparing some lessons plans for the next day. So i quickly open the door just a crack so she can hear my voice and say " It's going to get loud, we have to crank up Pyromans truck" and close the door before she could respond. Pyroman was OK with that.

Plenty more, but have to go make some $$$$ to pay for new and improved High perfomance parts... i mean electric bill, water bill, house note, food, Visa.............
