Ok permission granted

This one being built will be P-60 powered.
Smoke system.
2 underwing drop tanks
and 1 nerf ball belly release.

Will post pics here and there.

I chose to use the Top Flite P-47 fiberglass droptanks for under the wings.
Looks pretty good.

More pics later:

This Trainer with drop tanks??! Look forward to seeing what that looks like... I used to have a similar looking airplane with the high wing and I noticed that upon dropping flaps, the nose would drop. I used the flaps as spoilers instead and this slowed it down to a crawl for landings with a very nice high AOA. Has this happened to anyone with this particular model? Regards,

Richie

Im not sure how it will behave with the tanks.

With the regular wing it will slightly pitch up with flaps, a bit on down elevator is programed in, about 8%

T-500 is a great choice, same with a Wren 54, be sure it's an auto start motor though.
Both of these can be had at decent prices.

Been following this build thread for a week or so and was so impressed I have one coming (If they can get it through the 2+ feet of snow outside)

I have a Jetcat P60 to power it. Going to be guided by a JR PCM10x radio.
Intairco wheels and brakes for the required stopping power.

I have no ideas what color scheme I'm going to use. Once I have recieved and started building it I'll start posting my pics here for anyone that is interested. (That is if I don't freeze in the Basement first)

George
