I agree. Check the right thrust. As per you description, the sympthoms are of lack of right thrust. Most modelers also make the mistake to slam in the throttle stick to get her airborne as quick as possible - any rudder input will most likely be an overcorrection at this point, except if you really put in some expo. If she starts zig-zagging, cut off the power immediately and start over again. I never put expo on my sticks, real airplanes also don't have it, one must learn to fly the airplane by feeling the controls. This is a scale airplane, it must be flown scale-like. Advance the throttle in one steady movement, allowing the rudder to become effective as airspeed increases. You'll see how nicely it tracks down the runway, provided everything is aligned properly. One of my favorite take-offs with my 30% SD is to apply throttle to 75-80%, letting her go all the way down the runway, already in flying position, tail up, wheels still on the ground, just applying a touch of up a few yards short off the runway end, lifting off on the wing as it should be with such a beautiful lady as is the Super Decathlon... if needed I apply the 20% to power her up a little more, just prior to lift off. Try it... Marcus
