Hello everyone!
I am looking into getting a small fleet of micro-t's for the family. I have a 5 year old who is very interested. As a prior racer, I know that 1/10th scale units are not cheap, and go too a little fast for a newbie 5 year old to control. I am partial to Losi, I started out with a JRX-PRO YEARS ago, and have faded out of the racing scene. I really like what I have read on these, and the cost of a inexpensive yet sturdy truck is hard to come by. Are smaller pinions available? Just in case they are still a little too fast...
Thank you for the help!

Shoey

yes there is smaller pinion, they come with a small, medium, large in the box with the rtr.. these little guys are still quick, but im sure a 5 yr old can manage it no problem, id have him/her start off outside in a garage with it, until they get used to it for abit unless you dont mind them ramming into things and possibly breaking the arms off.. lol with their size, the parts are alot cheaper, but they also break easier.. no saying their bad, but their still really durable trucks.. also id start with a dt since their longer and seem to be alittle stronger imo... mines takin more abuse than my T and stood it all.

as far as spur, its a 54 i think, and it is hot racing or integy that makes them, than for the smallest pinion look here: here is a 9t pinion, u can look around, but these will need t he centers made alittle larger if i remember correctly http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id=V504635&pid=S739658

Why does it seem like this micro-t forum is losing steam? There used to be at least 20 or more posts per day on here?

Anyway, I think I am ready to begin cyborginization of my Micro-T.

Who makes the best metal parts? Where can I get them?
