I am pretty content with my Atomic BB motor and Lipo packs. the car is PLENTY fast with them. I can't imagine how I will be able to control the car when I finally put the brushless in. I dont think its possible. Anyway, Lipo is a MUST. The lipo even on the stock motor is a huge blast and is quite fast. Throw in the Atomic BB and you'll be smiling for sure. I was giddy when I saw how fast it was and I still tear up and down the street and my neighbors are amazed. Just be sure to get a heat sink for the motor cuz it can get pretty hot, especially if you run the largest pinion for the most speed like I do. Also, a set of good shocks will keep you from wiping out and having to replace parts non stop. The only really good set of shocks is the 3racing oil filled (all over ebay) they are worth every penny. At least until the Losi oil filled come out in mid may. You'll prolly need new tires too, I tore up a set of street meats pretty quick, lol EDIT: I have the losi lipo and this one (great batt) Losi lipo is decent, comes with a charger. I hear lots of people have probs with it but I havent had any. <link removed> They do not take 2 hours to charge, 40-50 minutes MAYBE an hour. I just got this one and been using it. First couple of charges the car was cutting out. I dunno if it was getting to hot or if it was cuz my antenna was busted. But I fixed the antenna and ran 3 more charges through it and its fine. May have just needed a few runs to get her moving. Its got a bit longer run time than the losi lipo, and definately has more snot than the losi, at half throttle it will pull and hold wheelies even with the largest pinion on. You cant go wrong definately with it. You are going to have to solder on your own connectors though, I would recommend the Micro Deans connector but if you want to keep it stock you can pick up the stock losi wire and connectors and use that. The charger comes with alligator clips on the end so you are going to have to solder a plug onto the end of something one way or another, so you might as well do the Deans.
