I recieved some of my parts today. The Toyz gearbox looks like it only has one bearing???? I thought it would have ones for the inside for the differential. I only bought the losi bearings which only come with the 8 bearings for the wheels...I would have ordered a set of 10 with the bearings for the tranny if I knew that I would have needed them. This kinda sucks because if I need to order another set thats just more down time...no hobby stores near me. Oh well any suggestions would be welcome.

Desert, your ball bearings from stock transmission should fit in there just fine

And no probs on the 'how to' shim. That's what these forums are for.

Cheers!

Okay, well that is good to know...I thought the stock tranny came with bushings. Well I am piecing together my new graphite chassis as we speak. It has been slow going though. Thanks again galaxie.

Mike, wouldn't you need a ground for that? The way it looks, you're just tied into the '+' positive line..... kind of like just holding both wires to the top of a battery, you have to have one on the top of the battery and one one the bottom to get the light to come on, you know what I mean?

I'm no expert, just a thought.

PS, your T is looking good!

...or it that a specific switch for the lights? Not the off/on switch for the truck.

I bought a used T which had a really simple light that was attached right to the motor leads.... of course it would only come on under throttle and dim at half speed, kinda like a dimmer switched light.

I Picked up 2 of those Aero-nuts 2S1P 7.4V 200mah Lipos. Wow, no more Stock Batteries for me LoL
They work well, Havent tried to see how long I can make it last, Been taking it easy. But TONS of power, no problem riding wheelies.
And I'm just Bone Stock(other than the Battery)

if youm look closely at the wheels you will c these little clips that lok like e's
you have to takethose off to take the wheels off...
be careful though..
they are very small and if you take it off wrong the clip will fly into space and you will never find it..
well glad to help

best way to do it is to put the car in a ziplock bag, and use a safety pin to pull the clips off (poke throug the bag)

this way, when the fly off, they fly inside the bag.

and just get the threaded axkes.

Threaded axles are soooooooooooo nice. But they can be a pain at times. Like when you have to tighten them just right otherwise the wheel won't spin or the nut will spin off. Thread lock works though and you can also dremel a little off the wheel.
