I cut the end off the charger and use my peak charger to get optimum performance out of this pack.

They are worth every penny once you use them.

I am thinking of getting a couple of these, but first I was wondering how they run on plush carpet? Since carpet is the primary surface I will be running them on I just wanted to make sure they run well on it. Pretty much all of the vids i have seen are running on hard surfaces or indoor/outdoor carpet I just wanted to make sure there was not a reason for this. thanks

They will run well on plush carpet. You will need to do a after run inspection though. Make sure that you check all the rotating parts for loose threads. My buddies Micro-t got some loose threads caught around the rear wheel and I picked it out with a pair of tweezers.

Well a couple folks here seem to be having the issues with the battery/charger. Mine is having the same issues. The charger with new batteries only charges for about 10 minutes then the battery has only about 3 minutes of run time. Thats no where near what most people are getting.

The weird thing is that when I pull the battery off the charge and hook it to a volt meter, it reads 5.7 volts. When I run it down and the truck won't move any more, I hook it up to the volt meter and it reads 4.7 volts. Shouldn't the battery be dead?

Any who, I called up Horizon and they asked me to send in my battery and charger for a diagnostic and they will take care of it.

Hope they have somewhat quick turn around. I really like this truck when it runs correctly.

I broke the steering knuckle today after hitting the infamous chair. Pics show damage. Both of the red zip ties took the pounding over and over so far.

Me and my dad are thinking about buying two micro-t's to race in the basement during the cold and rain. So, my question is how do these handle and are they any good. From what I have seen here, many people are having trouble with broken things from the factory and short runtimes. Do they have good high speed handling and how well do they turn? I want them to turn sharp so we can build a nice fun track in the basement. I get the impression from just looking at them and hearing things that they have bad build qaulity. If everyone could answer some of these and please be honest so I don't waste my money that would be great.

Mine is holding up great, and I can't beleive it's still running. Handle good at any speed. If you drive it until the truck goes really slow, then recharge it, the bat should last around 10 min. turning, the max is about 2 feet, but if you are moving, then you turn and let off the gas, you should be able to get around a 1ft turn. I get around 1/2 ft sometimes.

I have had problems with mine as you can see here http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5102985/tm.htm but i think some people get good ones some get bad ones but i would recommend get it from your lhs because you might have to take it back but i hear losi is real good with taking them back and fixing them.
