I have done a search on this topic and read lots of questions and replies but still cannot decide what to do.

I recently bought a pre-built Kyosho Spitfire 40 which already has standard aileron servo extensions running through the wings. I discovered that these leads are ~40" in length. These seemed a little long.

Should I cut the leads, shorten the wires and solder them with shrink tubing? Or should I just leave the lead length alone but separate the individual wires and twist them as suggested on other posts?

Any other suggestions would be helpful.

Thanx

Mike

40" is pretty long, but if the servos are not high draw digitals your probably alright. Of course it is not real difficult to cut them to the proper length and solder/shrink wrap them, that is what I would do.
