My friend Corey "Scale" Dail just completed his 75th mission yesterday here in Southern California.
~Royal B-17 with OS .15cv 'glow-fuel' engines. All running perfectly and long, long 15 minute flights too.

Congrats Corey for another successfull scale model.

My BVM F-86 Sabre.

Sabre's looking great Greg. Gotta get down lower for that great scale shot though. Eli Field is sure starting to mature nicely.

Hi All,

As I haven't put any pictures on this thread for a long while I thought I'd better join in, again. The F-86 picture inspired me to look out a couple of pictures of Mark Hinton's fabulous '86 and one of Geoff White's equally superb Hawker Hunter. These two are my favourite all time jets!

TTFN,
Neil

I took this one today, looks pretty realistic.  Was really overcast so photos were a little difficult to get.

Mustang51 long time since I have seen you on this forum.

The models may be well built and even detailed to scale in many cases, yet the photography of the models shows no more than a model. There are some stunning examples of what this forum should have in it, yet most of the resent contributions are not even close.

It really comes down to the old "is it live or is it Memorex?" If ione can just glance at the photo and not have to question if it is full sale then the premise is lost.

The Wildcat especially made me look twice, . which is what the photos in here are supposed to do. The A-10 is also good.Well done!

The Staggerwing is very nice, lighting is good. My only comment is most of the Beech Staggerwings had metal props from what I can recall.

I agree David, but remember that people are "shot down" because there planes were showing a control linkage..............
