Status: offline 		I wasn't going to post this. cause I know - the grass, the coarse concrete, the canopy, the linkages and such things give it away.
But then this happened yesterday: I was over at a friends house for bbq. Since this is my new baby, I showed the pictures around on my iPad. Now these guys are into cars, but they know that I am into aviation. They know that I do RC as well as flying full size airplanes. And they know that I have flown vintage aircraft (man carrying ones) before. (have taken one of them on a ride in a DC-3 before...) So it wouldn't be too much of a surprise to them if I told the story of how I flew an F86 yesterday (they simply don't have the kwowledge to assess that that would be a sensation - virtually impossible).

So I am showing these while telling them of how it was my second flight yesterday and how I had landing gear problems and all. One of them looked very worried all of a sudden.."Oh my god - what did you do? Wasn't that scary?" The other said: but how'd you do it anyhow? Are there two seats in in? Looks like it has only one... Was this your instructor (refering to the pilot you can see in the cockpit..). All three guys shook their heads in disbelief when I told them that this is a model. I had to show them a picture of it with me behind it (which I absolutely do NOT dare to post here!!!!)

Status: offline 		Been a long time since I visited here. Great shots all through this thread! I finally made it out to a top-notch scale outing at the Indiana Warbird Campaign this weekend. The planes were incredible. I'm working on some editing, but this is one I took on Friday morning when the weather was the best.
