Hi there,
I would like to stick a canon ES870 8mm camera on my Hawk III with a TT .36, the weights is not an issue, but my brother was saying something about interferance..... the video camera will be hangin below the skids stradled by the helicopter, it will be about 7-10 inches from the rx. the camera will only be recording, not transmitting. will this cause any unwanted interferance or sudden gravity surges causing my helicopter to be sucked into the ground....
If I did want to make the camera transmit wireless live video to the ground could I? or would i have to get alot of cord and a bigger engine.... anyways, any help would help, because it's help... I think it's getting a little late.

thanks for the help
Brandon

I don't think your bro was talking about radio interference. He may have meant vibrations from the engine interfering with the picture taking. The engine vibrations may cause unwanted lines in the picture. You will need to use a lot of foam to prevent this.

thanks for the advice, I have a pretty smooth helicopter but stopping all vibrations is next to impossible. but don't worry, I plan to use lots of foam. I was thinking of putting a small shatter proof peice of glass infront of the camera lens to help protect it. hopefully I'll have it flying soon. thanks
