Please tell him I'm wishing him luck with it. When it hit the runway like that it jolted my heart with that slap. Did you see how it happened?

warbirds are not easy to fly bet he had little experience rt rudder would have brought the aircraft back onto the runway. Arf means people with no building and little flying skills can crash a nice warbird! i fly arfs and mostly build and i like them but then i can use rudder

CrashPro,
I hope some day I can visit Indio, CA., and fly one of my Warbirds at your flying field. However, all anyone will see on the video of my P-51 will be down nte middle of the runway takeoffs and landings and my P-51 hot on your "6"...LOL! Thanks for the great videos. They are always humorous to watch. BTW, do you happen to have a G2 flight sim? I'll dog fight you on line if you do. Good Luck and Happy Landings.

Thanks for the compliments
No, never had a simulator, but I do play an online game called 'Fighter Ace'...really cool....puts you in the cockpit of WWII fighter planes...you need a joystick, a fast (cable or DSL) connection, and a computer with good graphics card.

Serge760,
Very, Very nice! I see you know how to use the RUDDER. Maybe you can assist the pilot of the ill fated Hurricane. California Dreamin'!

Serge, you handled it like a Pro! You treated your Bird like a lady, wings level... nose trimmed to be level with the horizon. And I noticed not only do YOU use the rudder, you didn't make any sudden quick movements on your maneuvers. Looks like you let the Fighter fly itself, and you just manipulated her where you wanted it to go. All I can say is... "That's good flying!"

If I lived near you and CrashPro, and if I felt the littlest inclination that I couldn't handle my plane, or I was too scared about a maiden, I wouldn't hesitate to ask you or CrashPro to test my plane out for me. And I would not think twice to hook up the "Buddy Box" with you guys.

And I don't trust just giving the controls of my plane to anyone, if that means anything to you.

I envy all of you over there at your field. It's been cold and wet here at Pulaski. The field is so wet, The Club President closed the field until March. The ground is so soggy, the car would be a Mud Cruncher, and my planes would need Floats with wheels on it. In the mean time, I'll get my new planes ready for Spring and come in here to harass you good folks in the meantime.

I'm also glad I'll get to watch some R/C Videos from last year for Christmas. You know, I just can't get enough of this Sport. I wonder if it ever makes my wife jealous?

I have AFPD. And I fly Microshaft Combat Flight Simulator 3 and Flight Simulator 2004, or FS9. I might get the FSX next, but that's not much better than FS9 from what I heard.

I flew a 747 from Seattle to JFK in 4 1/2 hours last night. Talk about a hard plane to fly! Everything is done by GPS and Auto Pilot... Or "Fly by Wire" rather. All I do is get it to the runway, take off and land. Of coarse it isn't that simple... but you get the idea. I love the Cub too because it just brings back so many good memories of my flying years.

And yes, I'm the same dude with all those Sound Uploads and other stuff for these Simulators. My hardest work was the Me-262 for CFS3. I built that plane and made a NASA Flight file to make it operate and fly right to the Specs. I also added all the effects etc.

I also made the Arizona Dr-1 for AFPD. It was my first attempt to make a plane for a R/C Simulator. It seems to be a hit, I got a letter from a French Site asking to have my Plane. I don't know French... but my wife translated it for me.

While I was flying the 747 last night, I thought... man, if I had a few Cocktails before and or during my flight, I could make this more realistic.
