Balance Point: 4 3/4" back of the leading edge at the center section.
elevator: Hi rate: 5/8 x 5/8 Lo rate: 1/2 x 1/2
rudder Hi rate: 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 Lo rate: 7/8 x 7/8
ailerons Hi rate: 5/8 x 5/8 Lo rate: 5/16 x 5/16
Flaps: Take off: half flap-1/2" Landing: Full flap: 1"

Mixing: 1/16" up elevator at half flaps and 3/32 at full flaps. This will keep the nose level when you extend the flaps.

I had flaps on mine but rarely used them. It lands nicely without flaps. If you do put them down, and don't have elevator mixing, be careful, is will slow down quickly and stall if you're not careful. I also had rudder/aileron mixing in mine.
It's a great flying plane.

Scrap that last transmission. I just saw that you have a Royal and not Top Flite. These specs are for the Top Flite. Should've looked closer! I have no experience with the Royal kit.

Hi!
Important throws are elevtor and ailerons ...Side rudder throw is not that important (but use as much as you can), Flaps should not be used on take of when new you are to the airplane.
C of G on my Marutaka (Royal was the US importer) Dc-3 is at factory setting at 14cm from wing leading edge (at the fuselage).

I have approximately 10mm elevator up throw measured at the trailing edge of the elevator. Ailerons the same
