I was thinking of playing with this.. I have 2 OS 70 4c eng and I was going to make a moter mount that will hold 2 eng. and put a prop driver on it.. I was going to play with a 1 to 1 and a 2 to 1 driver with it.. I mite go as fair and putting 2 ST 75 and try it just to see what it will do and how big of a prop it will tern.
Has any one done this and if so how did it work and was there any probs with it.
Thanks
Paul

Dubro used to sell a system something like this.

By the time you add the weight and cost of the entire assembly, it is cheaper, and about the same weight, to use a gasoline fueled engine. The weight and power turns out to be the same, except the gas engine has the advantage of burning cheaper fuel and a carb that has its own positive fueling system.

Still, if you like to tinker, no harm done in trying it out just for fun.

That is why Im trying to do this.. I have the glow eng and I have allot to the stuff to make it.. I do not have to go out and get a gasser.. I have some gassers but they all have plans on them.. I have one plane that needs a eng.. the gassers I have are to big or to small for this plane.. that is why I was thinking a playing with this idea.. This is just a plane that I do not want to put allot of money in to but I do not mine puting alot of time in lol..
