Here's a track I made several years ago for Mini-Zs. All the walls are padded and covered with vinyl, and it can be configured for either oval or roadcourse. I since ran out of space to store the track and ended up selling it, but it was fun while it lasted.

Road course:

Oval:

I also made a portable track for 1/10th sedans that gets pretty regular use. It's basically just white boards that join together with simple hinges - it works pretty well. I'll post some pictures of that soon.

A portable 1/10 track, but you didn't have room for the mini track.

Hey everyone, I'm currently in Iraq and waiting for my E-Zilla to show up in the mail. We will be building a track on the back of our lot so I'll post pics soon.

hehe Good point!

The difference is that my 1/10th track is basically just a pile of boards that will fit in a duffel bag. I can put it in the back seat of my car pretty easily. The parking lot acts as the racing surface, and that stays where it is.

The Mini-Z track, on the other hand, uses three 4' x 8' plywood sheets as the base, which means you need at least 2 people to set it up and and a pickup truck to move it anywhere. It was a pain to store.

oh, I get it now. For some reason I was thinking you had the racing surface too. That would be pretty stupid. The boards are just used for the borders though.

Nice Mini-Z track, I have the RCP track but only have room to set up just a little over half in the house.

Taffey thats a pretty cool track. I want to see this portable track for 1/10th sedans; I could use something like that.

I started working on making a track in our feild within the atv track. I got maybe 6 passes 6' wide and about 100' long of the top soil scraped off so far. I gotta get something to drag behind the tractor to smooth it out. I really don't feel like or want to spend money to have clay delivered so I wanna do the best I can with smoothing out what I have. I would just love to put in some huge stunt type of jumps with nice transition landings that way it is easy on the cars.
