I have broken enough blades, skids, and one body to finally achieve hovering and basic flight patterns with my eFlite Blade CX2. With very light (<5 mph) to no wind outside, I could not break ground by more than one foot flying my friends Helimax AXE CP before I over controlled its pitch and aileron to drop it on its side. After these "crashes" both of the wood main rotor blades developed small (<1 cm) cracks that I sealed with medium CA. I observed that the servo push rods are installed at the maximum distance out on the servo connectors, which gives this high sensitivity with very quick response to control changes. What are the suggestions or experience with moving these servo push rods to the minimum distance or two holes out on the servo connectors, which gives lower sensitivity with less response to control changes?
