Just a Test! I'm very new to the RC field. My current project is constructing the Stuka by Ziroli. I'm sure if I have any questions in terms to construction tips it won't be hard to find.

cheers,

Wayne

Your machinegun fairings look great! How did you make them?

Thanks for your compliment Mustang.Basically the fairings are made of a balsa block.Once you know the diameter you mark your circle on the top and cut it out with the bandsaw. Then use your sander to clean it up.Next you use a dremel to dig out the area where the gun will be placed and sand to shape. To get the contour of the wing lay down 100 grit sandpaper and sand over the area the gun will be placed. This will give you the perfect contour of the wing on the fairing.I hope this helps out a bit.Lots of patience and work.

Hey SS...Thanks for all the detail Pic's. I have half a mind to come down to Fla, and look over that birdl. I'm really looking forward to getting to the finishing stages with mine. Since this is my first Giant scale, that will make the details worth the extra effort, I want it to look right. I've seen some planes that no detail would look better that the half a$$ effort that was put into it. Thanks for all the help from all the responders....Looks like the hot brass tube (and lotsa patience) will be the rivet maker here.

Thanks again, Benny
