I have a .30 size glow heli but I was looking for something to fly indoors, like the hornet or hummingbird. Are replacement parts for these little helis very expensive, and do they hold up very well in a crash? Also which d you think is the best indoor heli is as far as strength, quality, and maneuverability.

got a fp piccolo a few weeks ago, and have loved flying it indoors so far! After many beginner crashes, nothing has been damaged beyond repair so far. (Even managed to split a main blade, a little bit of epoxy and all's well.) And I have crashed it into everything possible so far!

from what i've heard, the fixed pitch micro electrics are quite a bit more durable and also cheaper to repair. (at least the piccolo series in general)

I think the Piccolo will do you well. I've had my dear little fixed pitch for a long time now, and actually still fly it. I've just ordered the pro to carry on the tradition, even tho I have my Logo for the heavy lifting..

couple of links for you, if you haven't hit them in one of the other threads..

the ultimate (outside) Piccolo Pro..

I have had both hornet and pic
Go with a pic for durability
also check this web site for very cheap mods to make the FP fly more stable
