this is currently the shell sitting on my ride. i bought a couple of cheap sets of abs tires for drifting. the car is a tc4 and powered by a mamba 7700 with a hitec digital 5925 servo and jrs radio.
the car is not a full time drifter (obvious by the motor selection)
I hope to track down some new visual mods and the final show body will be a Supra.

thanks for compliments on the elise. I do like the body, came out better than what I expected, just messing around with an airbrush. I also like how the onroad bodies look so realistic. I have a Saleen Mustang and a Chevy Silverado waiting to be painted.

I havn't been drifting for a while but i'll get back into it. I wish I knew someone around here that also does it. Right now it's just me in front of my house. It's fun though.

E30 trash, wow.

Are those the new rims where you can adjust offset? I LOVE the offset look. It's too nice to be driven. hehe.

My first electric, first kit, first paintjob. Just painted it today and built it a few days ago. Used blue medium adhesion 14 day scotch painters tape to mask the windows.

Looks better in real life because you cant see all the tiny scratches and dust, looks worse because you can see the paint bleeds/leaks.

Man, just looking through the pages, and alot of nice bodies, but at least for me its completely ruined by the field goal body posts. Is there a reason why you guys kleave them so long, or no?

anyway i just wanted to show off my new shell lol

a HPI 1968 Chevrolet Camaro, in dark metallic blue (Tamiya Spray can PC-16)

half way thru the stickering

and after it was finished

Hpi Makes extenders for that I hear. It extends the body post to the front of the car, ad then you make how tall you want it to be.

Here's pics of my new shell. I had to buy extended posts to accomodate the hatchback of the body. I thought green would be ugly but, in my opinion, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Ok, i dont really understand the HPI extender thing. Does it allow you to move to body posts forward, or backward so it will mount better? What i was talking about was how alot of you guys never timmed your body posts.

they make adjustable body posts. kinda like the antenna on your radio. it moves up and down to extend. im guessing thats what they are talking about.
