AE86 is still sexy

I'm buying a real AE86 without motor
by this spring I'll be finished rebuilding a new crate motor for it.

just for fun I'm going to paint it to look like sk8's Ae86 and do some doughnuts in a video

Well, I finished up a second skyline body. Same one R34 but made by HPI this time not Tamiya. Still working on a design for the R35.

This one worked out better. I found the HPI body stickers too busy so I didn't put all of them on. Waiting on my light buckets and I'm good to gol.

Still trying to decide whether to make the hood, trunk and spoiler the CF look again. I also added how HPI had the paint and decals arranged.

I'd love a real one too, but don't have a third space in my garage in this house. The AE86 is all about nostalgia...Old School style! CO-D (Colorado Drift) just had a meet on Sunday. The video will be online by the end of the week. We'll post it in the "Videos of your Drifter" thread.

i won this shell at a local mini comp the other week, and got bored so i decieded to get my VIP on. Enjoy
Colors used are tamiya gold and black, and tamiya andodized pink aluminum and copper.
rims are SWP D9s, +7 front, +10 rear, with 1mm spacers all around. Camber is at 3+ in the rear to get the tires inside the well wells

solodrifter.... i absolutely admire your light blue toyota... quick question where did u get that? did u make it? if you bought it how much was it? im very interested in purchasing a new body and tht is by far the coolest i have seen.

Thats not the MMM. The MMM motor is huge compared to that one.

I just painted this today. I'm planning on putting in some homemade light buckets. (thats just a fancy way of saying scrap plastic light holder. [:D])

Sorry about the blurriness. I'm still trying to figure out this 7 year old camera.

Hey guys here's my new BMW 325si, I still haven't tinted the windows, put in the roll cage, put in the LEDs, finished the lights, finish the mirrors, nor have i put in the exhausts so its not done quite yet... nonetheless enjoy! [:D]

The lighting is really bad because theres fires out here in California again so the sun is tinted orange haha.

The reason I dont have it on my chassis is because my rims haven't come yet. [:)]

Made a DIY pop up headlights. It was fun making it too. It took me like an hour of making it and thinking about it. I know the body is not in great condition, which is why it didn't bother me to cut up the body like that. ENJOY!!
