Hopefully you win some additional "hobby bucks" while you are out there!

Yeah before I leave I will play a few games but nothing too out of hand. Never been a huge gambler plus if I don't win that is just money I could of had for my buggy. It was 100 degrees again today. Not humid but it is still super hot.

WHo stocks aluminum diff mounts that hold the rear diff in place? I don't like the stock plastic ones.

Is FG-Supply a good place to order from as I see they carry the alum motor mounts and 19 tooth pinion gear?

If I get these items my FH will be pretty much freaking bullet proof. I prefer to order here in the states if possible. Anyone know of a good place to order these items please let me know.

Thanks
Brian

Been a little since I posted on the Firehammer but I was away on vacation, then I went to a race this weekend for the Roar Region 2 regionals, it was raining for 5 days straight and then I had the car in pieces for cleaning and going over everything. So now it is pretty much back together with my new fuel tank and my CRN racing alum adapters to run 17mm truggy rims on the car. I did most everything but rebuild the shocks which I want to try with some 90wt gear oil that I read some others tried with some good results. I will try that out in the next week or so.

I hope to run my car tommorrow night since it has been about 3 weeks or so since I ran it last. It will be nice to get it out running again even if it is for 5 minutes. It relaxes me just to run it and hear the pipe again.

Isn't it painful when you have to go days or weeks without?

I just blew out another dogbone and outdrive. I think I'm on the verge of ordering the ball drive set from Hobbythek since no one in the states has it except for the FG one. I think I'll also order the 17 tooth pinion. It'll probably be a couple weeks before I order though. I have a few things coming up like my son's birthday!

I don't know of anyone in the states that sells the aluminum diff mounts, I wonder if the Marder's will fit? Probably not, it's probably the handful of parts that won't work!

Well I ordered the ball drive set for the Firehammer MT and a 17tooth pinion from HobbyThek. I couldn't wait.

I need to order some aluminum motor mounts. Once I get those my FH will alot better overall and I can really start enjoying the car more.

How did putting Your Jetpro pipe on affect the plastic motor mounts, do they break? My Jetpro will be here tomorrow, and I hope to try it out this weekend.

Really? Please show me the link on their site that shows the ball drive for the Firehammer MT or clone truck as well as the 17 tooth pinion.

The pipe isn't really a problem. It is more like it is plastic and is junk.

Hey wyd, did you ever find a steel 19t pinion, if so where did you get it? I would also like some aluminum motor mounts, but I think I better wait a few months, because ever since I got this buggy my wallet is starting to shrink.

Never did try to get a 19 tooth steel pinion. So far I only went thru one plastic gear. My main problem is the motor mounts. I will order some but I just bought a new house and we need to get are other one ready to sell so I just have no time right now.

THe 1/5th scales do take a little money. If its not hopups then it is tires and so on. Vicious cycle I tell ya. lol
