yes yes and yes. plug could be fouled out, try a new in box one, get 2, ive seen new plugs be bad stock settingss are 1.25 out on L and 1.5 out on H. idle to taste. the revving could be a few things. one your servos may of been glitching ( getting interferance from somewhere ) and causing the throatle servo to be jumpy. a screw or screw could be, or have come loose. check your carb. make sure it is on solid. if it feels even in the most remote way loose, pull the air cleaner and tighten the bolts. not too tight tough. you MAY need to remove the carb and tighten the intake manifold bolts if the intake itself is loose. the plugs are always seated fully. make sure your spark plug is tight. tuning these is only similar to tuning nitros. i go off of performance and plug colors at differnt rpms. i ll check on low med and wot rpms for plug color to see how my needles are set. its really the best way to determine the operating condition of the motor while its running.
