that depends how much power do you want. do you have a 2.5 now or a 3.3
if you want more power than a 3.3 go with a Os .21

Very nice truck zooman.
Did you giys know that theres a bigblock kit in the making for the jato? will be out sometime early in 07 i think. Anyone looking for more power, that conversion kit is the thing to get.

Go with a .18 TZ or TM for the most power in a easy to mount small block. The 3.3, I think, has too much power.

With all the heavy aluminum you added you will need more power. I would go with a big block.

Nice Jato zooman , the OS 18 is a great motor , I have a bud with one in a REVO and it hauls A$$. But the TRX 3.3 is cheaper and KICKS A$$ in the JATO chassis .

ProRCRacer88 , New Era has had it for a little while .

Why do you got such big wheel adapters on? Smaller wheels will lighten the load on the engine/drivetrain and make it go alot faster. I would go with some traxxas 2.2 lightweight rims and these tires:http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCME2&P=7
People say those are nice though i am still using stock victorys, because my lhs gave em to me to match towers price....
Othaer than that sweet jato!!!

We use an OS .18 TZ EB Modded and it has tonnes of power somewhere around 20-30% more than a 3.3. The tz goes faster at 180 degrees vs the 3.3 at 220 its night and day. With the tz it shifts after 5-10 feet cold and with the 3.3 it took around 100-200 feet depending on how warmed up it was. The next motor that is going on it will be the OS Speed .21 VG. With all your weight you should still be able to wheelie with the tz no problem. I have seen it hit 70mph running at a cool 220 so im sure it would hit 80+ mph at 250-280 degrees. If we could only get it to stop flipping. See the real problem with all this power and speed is the flipping. It takes one flip at 70+ mph and you could very well cost yourself $100+. When the car does 70mph cold and can flip with the first high speed run its not as much fun hammering it all the time. It wheelies at half speed flips all the time now we need to put weights on the front and change the body. You can go look at the
