little more done;

got the chassis painted and mounted up some of the body panels:

remade the link mounts on the chassis and the upper link mounts on the axles. thanx to a simple suggestion about possible binding and articulation limitation that had initially slipped right by me. things move much smoother now:

made an electronics plate and covered it with velcro. now i can just slip the radio gear in and out easily. hopefully the velcro holds well enough. if not a couple small holes and a zip-tie or two should fix it;

and a flip top hood to cover the motor. thinking it should have apanel below it to for protection but haven't decided yet;

ordered up some more parts to finish up hopefully;
motor: integy 45t
esc; moped vr16 plus
micro servo (for dig); XPower 9g

t-maxx shafts for center lines, rod ends to finish up the steering and rear lock out, and some of the revo bump steer balls to raise the steering line.

Brazing isn't that hard. it's basically the same method as soldering but stronger and requires a higher heat source. i use mapp gas, get it at local hardware store, and standard brazing rod. the rod is messy but cleans up nice. if you have access use Harris Safety Silver. it will give you a much better looking joint from the get go with less cleaning afterwards.

electronics are in. soldering up my connections, should have some pics soon
