Adam can I come to your house to play Nice shop. I really don't have 1 as yet . It's all scatterd about and I find my self working here and there.
Be patience Waldo great video's are every thing. So is your 70 a 2 then.
Check out club Satio on this thread about various satio problems. I read on there all about the cline regulator that helps a 4stroke hold a needle setting and I may have to do something like that myself with this H-9 sopwith. My spraybar is at the top of the lower third of the tank so it tends it siphion.
Does anyone know if a pumped 91 would solve tank position issues I'm itching to buy 1 from tower on the easy pay plan

Plowboy I feel your pain, I would be really upset if mine engine went down. how long have you had it.
Link do you have any other rx's that are the same as your crashed rx, if so you can pull the crystal out of 1 of them and try it that way you don't have to by another crystal if it doesn't work. also check your batt plugs and switch plugs.
I didn't get to fly today way to windy 20 mph with 45 mph gust, boy has this been a windy spring

Thanks Kerwin, I bought that engine in January. Its been very good up to now. Guess too many full throttle inverted flatspins is too much to ask from an engine......naaaaaa! If it don't hold up, I don't want it!
Too bad about the wind, I get that a lot here as well. Tomorrow is training day and we're keeping our fingers crossed for the students. We already had one guy solo this year.

Waldo, is the maiden this weekend or next? How about a picture of the finished Twipe?

Link, I've decided that you need to get yourself a falcon. Train him to run interference for you!

    Down T, nice Poe? reference.

Usually when i'm flying out at the field the Crows always Stay away from the area. They approch the area and hear the planes engine and usually fly around or away. But just this one bird that day. decided he was going to fly through the airspace no matter what. But a falcon would be Cool, as long as it didnt attack an airplane. Would have to have the falcon go out and clear the area then come back and then take off and fly.

I'm halfway through my U can do 46 Build so i'll have a small 3d plane hear in the air again soon. But if i see any crows i'll land i think or fly away from them. Dought they could catch the plane. what i should have done instead of challenging the Bird.

I would pull a Crystal out of another RX but it's a Negative Shift Electron 6 RX and all my other RX's are in planes and are Futaba Dual conversion positive Shift. I'm not really worried about it. i have 2 Bran new RX's on order. This one is discontinued buy Hitec, It served it's purpose, The other RX's i'm getting don't have Crystals to mess around with witch will be nice.

Futabas are negative shift. The crystals still won't work in a hitec receiver, but I thought I would clarify that.
JR and Airtronics are the Positive shift people.

Hey, has anyone ever ordered from those "Graph Tech" people? I'd like to try out their CF landing gear for the UCD 46, but I'm not sure if they're trustworthy or not since I've never dealt with them.
    Anybody?

I use their gear on my sig se and I can say it's the best gear I have ever had.
I bought it with my plane and I also bought another 1 from a guy at a swap meet so I have never ordered 1 from them but l do have thier landing gear and swear by them.
Now that I got their web site from you I'm going to buy me another 1 as soon as momma gives me some money

That's what I needed to know.
The stock twist gear appears to be 4" tall. I found some that are 5-3/4" tall. That ought to get my prop up out of the ground.
Should make for some nice 3-point landings too I would think.
I E-mailed them asking if I could get some made in yellow CF instead of black... Just for the heck of it. If not, I'll probably order the standard black stuff tomorrow night.

    Thanks kerwin!

TVV!$T 150 is fine. Changed prop to 16X10 So it will have clearance it flew ok with the 18X6 but it was close on landing and only 1 1/2 inch clearance is just a little to close.

Going to get another TVV!$T 40 Gonna be an ARF wont get the PNP again to expensive. Pretty cool vid Pit. lol

Currently been busy putting my U can do together. Snoopy has a new plane to fly.

    Link, I'm a big Snoopy fan. Just beware, my Snoopy was very mad at me for the ride I put him through, see it here;

    http://rcuvideos.com/item/KMKSKPNCG99B8C10

My next plane only lasted 2 1/2 min before it went in with Snoopy at the controls, I think I forgot too apologize to him...LOL Here he is now holding on to the only remaining part of the second P-51 in the shop as a reminder. Think maybe I should have given him a bath or maybe a day at the spa..

Poor Snoopy Pit, Too many trees around there that is scary, you have alot more nerve then i would, flying around all them trees. That plane hit hard Dang. Luckly My snoopy wasnt to shaken up he's pretty tough lol.

Waldo Were did you see a TVV!$T 40 for 99 Dollars. all the ones i have looked at are over a Hundred now. not to much more then 99 dollars but wouldnt mind getting one for that price. I'll keep searching maybe i overlooked something. Hope the maiden goes well, and you balanced that plane or at least atttempted too. With all this time you have had that plane should be perfectly balanced in one way or another. Still would hate to think your going to attempt to fly it on luck all that Hard work building it. Hope the maiden is a success on Saturday.

Snoopy is good luck in any Airplane usually Jackle. Just dont put a barbie in a plane, i'v heard its bad luck..
