Try for a APC 13x4W (as in wide) or a Master Airscrew 13x4 K-Series. Those would be my first choices.

my twist has met an unfortunate end this afternoon, batteries suck, i managed to harrier it into the weeds, but still broke in 2 places, wing is almost perfect, i think i may be able to rebuild it, but i do not have much experience building, i will post some pics later... thing that sucks is the battery is less than a year old and was just charged. had like 10 minutes of flight time on it when i had no control left... well my wife asked me what i wanted for my bday the other night, now i have an answer... A NEW TWIST!!!! I was also thinking a funtana 50, anyone have any experience with these, or another 3d plane, since i think this is repairable?

Downtrodden what cg are you running at?
I had my 1st dead stick. I know my engine isn't fully tuned and after I fuel it it dies somtimes going from mid to full. Well today it died once after I had taxied out of the pit and on to the runway. I took her back and restarted her and took off.
The wind was out of the west at 9 to 11 mph, so after a couple a minutes I started bringing her into the wind and let her float in place realtive to the ground.
After doing this several times for 5 mins I had her in 1 just west of the runway about 30 ft up she died after a 1/2 min or so at a little less than a 1/4 throttle.
I let her nose drop immedilatey to pick up some speed at about 45 degrees. At about 10 ft or so I started leveling her out. Praying that she wouldn't hit any of the brush IE 3ft hedge an locust trees. She landed in about 2 ft of grass a 100 ft or so away from me so I was unable to see the plane.
Upon arrival I gave thanks to god that no damage was done. I quit and brought her back home and will retune her.

Waldo I always heard it was high in NY. 60 mile north of Kansas City land is 1500 an acre if you buy over 10 acres and Modulars go for around 80 to 100 K set.
Now closer to the city the more it goes up but for a new home on 1/2 acre lot you can still do it for 180 to 250.
Right now gas is 3.57 a gal
Yakko send of some pic's please

    kerwin50.....my CG is 4.5"

Fellas...........I didn't say U Can Do's are junk........just an ugly second cousin to the T_ _ _T. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool 3D fanatic and the T_ _ _ T is my standard.........that's all I'm saying! I'm not saying that anyone of you shouldn't love 'em to death.......go for it........the T_ _ _ T is my baby, though...........I still have my UCD, Dart, Hirundo, 2-Sig Seniors, Sig 4*, Miss America, Sturdy Bird, Yard Stik, Big Stik, RV4, Sukhoi, Super Impress, SeaBee, and others which I love, but they are not touted as being "3D" aircraft as the UCD60 is...........all I'm saying is compared to the T_ _ _ T, the way-overpowered UCD60 I own is not in the same league as the T_ _ _T.

Yakko......I live in the "Sticks" so we don't have a selection either..........we have to stock up and be our own hobby shop. I'll second kerwin50's request for pics..........as I'd love to see some pictures of your homeland. A 12x6 will fly you around, but I don't think it'll "wow" you with 3D performance.

Dad Roman.......I think you're right......it's the "K" series for Master Airscrew.

Waldo.........I'm getting all excited over here........tomorrow is the big day......nes pas?

But tommarrow i'm going to go fly my 150 this hot weather here makes the gas engines run great. one flip and it was running. cant try my new velocity stack my bolts are to short. So just have to keep flying with the one i have. 16X10 Prop try outs tommarrow top rpm is 7800 hope i hauls A$$.. Gonna be a fun day..

Waldo good luck on the maiden...

Link Is the biggest problem you are dealing with on your 150 is the prop clearnce.
I was wondering about the 160 OS.
I think the UCANDO is a good plane. I've seen plenty of them fly and it seems the 4 strokes fly them the best.
I've learned in this hobby that there are alot of diff strokes for every 1 and that what makes it so great.

Does the real life U CAN DO fly like the one on the simulator?
It feels like it should be pretty locked-in on the sim, but is horribly underpowered. And even if you bump up the horsepower, it's still too.... bleh. There's just something about it that seems a bit icky I guess.

I know it's a simulator, but still. They say it's pretty accurate.
Somebody fly it and let me know.

Yep the prop clearance was to close with the 18X6 prop so now i went to a 16X10 Has alot of thrust. and more RPM then with the 18X6 the thrust i think is about the same. My 150 weighs 10lbs. And i think i'm getting about 9Lbs thrust that's why the plane is so slow.

The UCD has my OS 61 FX in it and should haul.. And that's all i really care about, i like to fly fast most the time. i should fly jets but there to expensive. I'm not to much into Hanging my plane on the prop, if i want to hover i'll get my Heli out and fly it around. i like doing the loops and rolls and flat spins and Waterfalls and all that kinda stuff. but i never got a big thrill out of hovering an airplane for some reason..

So your right different Strokes for every one and that what makes it Different. I'm a speed demond i'm always trying to push the plane to it's limits if i can fly it were it rips the covering off i'm happy.

And that was part of the reason i lost my 40 the crow was flying in my airspace so i chased him and he turned on me and now that i think about it maybe he felt he was defending himself and went on the defensive this was a first. When he started heading toward my plane i thought, i'll just pull up and go into a climb and avoid him well he did the same and we meet head on. If there is a crow with in my airspace you can bet there is going to be a dog fight.lol Most the time they just run and fly away or duck and dodge around and its great fun..

My friend thinks i'm crazy. Everytime he has been flying and i see a crow i say to him there's one get him. But he wont, but i will so far i have been in at least 12 dogfights with crows this was my first Plane shot down. lol

The TVV!$T 40 is the best plane for getting in dogfights with bird's cause you can turn it on a dime and fly the opposite direction.. In the blink of an eye, the UCD i'm not sure is going to be able to perform these lighting fast reversals. But should be a fast plane and fun to fly around.

I would be intrested in Why someone would think the plane is Junk. But yet again there are alot who think the 40 is junk too. So it just depends on your preference..

lol, from the looks of it, even I could fix that plane.
And I can't work with wood for crap.
You'll be alright methinks. Unless somebody who actually knows what they're doing thinks otherwise LOL.
