    191557,

Love the music link! Quite fitting I must say.

We finally got our snow. Only a few inches, but it's snow. Time to put the ski's on the trusty old Twist.

We haven't received our snow yet

A 150 size T_ _ _ T should be given to us all to try and review, If anyone could sell it, this page of T_ _ _ Taholics could, But maybe their too scared to let us try, becuase we could give it bad reviews too, But if I was given a free one, I think my review would be very positive and sell it for them as well. just one T_ _ _ Tpinion

Anyone use the H9 FSone simulator? I have been messing around with it and upsized the T_ _ _ T .40 with the .72 saito to the dimensions of the .60 with a Saito 100. Doesn't seem a whole lot different, but was interested to hear opinions from anyone else who might have tried this and what your thoughts are.

Jay..This is not the answer you were looking for, but I use the AeroFly Pro Deluxe, and love every second of it!! I do not know if you are in the market for a Sim, but do not make up your mind until you at least see this one. It has been used by a lot of RC Flyers for a long time....in fact.....this is how I learned to fly!!Practiced on this Sim for quite a while..then was solo in 2 days with a trainer plane! ..Just my .02

I've flown the FSone for a few hours and hate it! I think they should've waited a little while longer to release it... AFTER they came up with the fixes to all the problems it has. It's next to impossible to tweak a stock plane to even be able to hover. It's like there's a 20 mph crosswind when you get to hanging on the prop. Know this, I can 3D a plane quite well, so don't think it's me lacking skills.

Aerofly Professional Deluxe has my vote too!!! I am a 2+ year user and can't find anything that beats it. Realflight G3.5 is pretty close and with a little time with it I might even come close to bragging on it too. But for now, it's AFPD all the way!

Adam...You are absolutely right!! I have a sullivan tail wheel on both my FuntanaX50 and Katana .46, and love those tail wheels for sure! At the time I got the T _ _ _ T, I was not aware of the existance of the Sullivan tailwheels ..I think it is time to upgrade to the Sullivan wheel huh?? They sure take the stress of the rudder, no doubt...

LUDS96...it surelooks like you pulled your T _ _ _ T through the mud... That poor baby can use a shower. I'll bet that .91 gives you unlimited (vertical)power am I right??

    Nice Photos there Luds,

That is awesome you were able to get out on NYD,,,, good job, I'll tell you though,, just looking at those pics makes me quiver all over, I'm really jonesin for a flight now, its been about a month since i've been in the air

I am currently in the process of repairing all my last seasons dings and dents and busted pieces I've neglected to repair, but flew them all anyway, it was a busy year this past year for me, But now I can concentrate on cleaning up all the birds in my hanger, 6 to lightly repair, 1 Full build still in progress on my US 1000 which I need to save for my OS 1.60, and one Mig 27 giant Beer cooler (as DownT would say) to strap a big ol 60 - 90 motor on. And I still have to go and Purchase My 2nd T_ _ _ T 40 for next Season. my current T_ _ _ T is in need of Fuselage repair, but I think I'm going to toss it out, I want a FRESH One. I guess that's what winter is good for from my end. I really do love to get lost in all that Balsa dust and glue. and come the first day of our season My mini Air force looks all proud, sharp and gleaming, I love that too, but by the end of the season my Air force always looks like a beat up used car lot. True signs of a great flying season I say....

Poured Cats and Dogs all day the field was so soaked you could barely walk on it. Mud troughs all over. It washes right off. The center picture is the short take off roll then straight up. With the fog and the low cieling that day we were able to fly it right into the clouds and wait for it to come back down. My buddy Mark wanted to go up and go in to spins till they came out. I was to chicken. He owns the LHS he always has these cool ideas how to sell new planes. The two hours at the field were great. Got home early no complaints! With this warm winter we will proubly get to fly alot more. I've got a 65" GSP extra I rekited at the end of the season the new one came in so I have to move all the radio equipment over. Plus I bought there 72" That I have a Great running pumped OS 160 to put in. The T___T is a blast!

A friend game me a set of Twist wings that have been modified with tapered wing tips. (His Twist crashed at a fun fly event). I just tried them yesterday and what a difference in the stability of this plane. Handles like a much bigger model. Hovers feel locked in. Here are the pics I have of this mod.

Thats a new T_ _ _ t to the T_ _ _ t,, You say its more stabile, How were the spins, one of my favorite features of this plane is how fast it snap rolls in its flight, I love to just jam the Ailerons to full right or left and just fly all over the field while trying to do patterns, you can spin this baby for the entire flight, its just impressive to watch, but you can get a little dizzy at times. I would think adding length to the wing could slow the spin down a little, but its so fast now I wonder if there would be much of a noticeable difference.

It crazy spins in place if you enter it just right . It is so funny to watch. I've flown this plane for the last 2 years and it is now like a new plane. Rolls, believe it or not, are just as fast. Harriers are more stable and hovering is a hoot. It just locks in like my FuntanaX 100. This in an upgrade H9 should consider.
