Hey John - Are you planning any kind of design changes or additions from the first batch now that it has been out on the streets for a while? What is needed for a deposit? Thanks. ham870

My CG was perfect with the DA-50 on 3" standoffs, and all 4 li-ion batteries in the motor box, just behind the firewall.

Use the plywood packing from the shipping box to make your cowl ring.

Can anybody blame you for not flying that low?!?!?

With twenty-six hundred dollars wrapped up in the plane--I'll fly mine 3 mistakes high, too...

To those interested in the cowl ring idea---I used two thicknesses of the packing plywood, glued together.

Still waiting for "maiden flight" weather here in Ohio.

So without the smoke system what weight do you expect the plane to be at? around 17ish lbs..

los08,
Not quite that light.
The smoke system weighs only 10 ounces dry, so I'm at 17 pounds, 15 ounces without it (mind as well call it 18, huh?) .
Thanks,
V1

Did anybody get to fly their Python this past weekend?

We had a cold front come thru (30's) and I decided to just hang out at home with my daughter

John

I just happen to see two other ARF company's playing catch up by coming out with there own 50cc Pitts models. I
can truly say that they do not have the scale lines or the looks of your Pitts.
