Heres a reply from Norbert about the contents of the kit...

"a kit contains the fuselage's tail with vertical stabilizer, the cockpit section and the engine nacelles. Center fuselage, wings and horizontal stabilizer have to be built with foam/balsa by yourself"

I too have not yet recieved a reply from him. I was just interested to see what his pricing would be... It is very easy to cut the foam yourself, and I beleive Norbert supplies templates, or plans for templates with the kit. These are very simple shapes, and even the wings are of simple foam modeling techniques. Once you have made foam wings etc once, you will never look back!!!!!

Depending on the templates, you wont need a CNC cutter!!!! These fuselages are basically round, or slightly out of round. All you do is apply templates to the foam and run the hot-wire around it... Each half of the wings I would say are done in two parts (depending on model) but these are a simple hot-wire technique too...

Peter Michel flys a DC 9
If you e-mail me i send by e-mail a 40 sec clip t/o and land at Top Gun Germany 1999

We have a chap, Dave, here who built himself a Lathe to cut circular foam sections app 30 cm long.

Others cut similar length half sections ang glue these to become a cylinder. No special foam cutting device is needed for that.
Wings can be made of lets say four pieces, each side two.
Than you dont need an extra large cutting arrangement.
The foam gives the shape, the balsa sheeting and glass cover gives the strength.

If yo want to know more about cutting circular sections I will ask dave to contact you.

Yep, I received a reply also...
I am going to fabricate my own foam parts... Manfred's will no doubt be of superior quality, but I just cant afford that extra in freight etc, especially that I have done alot of foam wings etc before...
