Yeah, I've been in contact with him its been almost a month and a half and they still don't have the part I need, or a muffler.... I'm guessing they ordered full engines and no parts for them the first time around... He's a really nice guy though and I think he's trying to help, it's just taking a while. I wanted to fly my big plane in the St. Louis huckfest this weekend but I can't due to this problem...

This is one thing that I have never understood, If I have a customer that needs a part I do not have I will take it off a new engine and then use that engine for parts, I can buy full engines from the factory for the same price I can buy the lose parts.

Yeah, thats what we did in the Air Force... its called cannibalizing... or Can Jet's for short. Take one jet and use it for parts for others and then one day just rebuild that jet when you get more parts in...

Hey All

Our spare parts for the engines are coming slowly by boat!! However, I can have the factory send the manifolds to you directly! I have sent PM to T3beatz on this subject.
Sorry for the delay... Our factory sent me bearings instead of the manifolds! Crap..... I would have taken the manifold off one of the new engines, but they were already out the door. Our new shipment is coming in with LOTS AND LOTS of the right spare parts.

I sent you an email confirming your address. If the factory can't get one in the mail to you in the next day or so, I have a couple of hobby shops that are carrying the engine, and I will get them to cannibalize one, and send you the part. Either way, hopefully, you will be flying this weekend.
Henry

Thanx henry!! yeah for the price and performance these engines will sell out fast... They run great once you get them dialed in right... I have mine now on a 16.5 lb yak-54 and its a blast to fly... I tried to fix the manifold I had with some JB weld but it only held for one day then poof dead stick it vibrated apart... I can't think of any adhesive that can hold it together temporally until the part comes in, any suggestions?

Just your run of the mill generic yak from the Local Hobby Shop... It's made just like the Nitro Models or the Bombay yak 54... just a different covering scheme... I paid like 300.00 for it and it flys pretty good, I just use it as a basher plane to learn 3d on the gaint scale stuff. It flys pretty good though, and I have Mixed up servos all on it...

Hows your yak going? I remember you having on a while back in one of your post... I think it was a KMP...
