I was just curious if any other helinoobs got a Helimax Axe EZ?? I got one and I am in love with it. I went to the LHS and had help getting it trimmed, so now it hovers nice and sweet. I must admit though, watching all the pros out there flying thier helis gets intimidating. How do they make it look so easy??

I just got one last week and it worked great, for a while. I broke a couple of upper rotor blades on a piece of furniture (funny how that furniture kept jumping out at the bird <G> , but other than that, it was working great. Now I can't get it to climb. The best it will do is a few inches off the floor at full throttle. It just doesn't seem to have enough power anymore. And I've tried another new battery, fully charged. I've even tried adjusting the pots on the receiver, but to no avail. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm sure open.

John

Oh man that sucks. Have you taken it to your LHS? Thank god that the LHS here in Anchorage has very experienced heli pilots. I would give it a shot.

I just got one an i like it. Its my first heli and my first time flying anything (besides buggys and random cars!) and its making it very easy to learn on.

I use to fly mine around alot around the poles in the basement.
Even though I tried flying a few other helicopters like the blade cx/Esky honeybee the helimax products always seem to fly alot better/easier.
After a week of flying I was doing circles, figure 8s,etc. without any trouble.
Since I have moved into flying the helimax axe cp.
