John, I see you added flying wires to your tail on the Yak. Any reason other than added strength?

That's all. I have had tails in the past get play in them after a couple hundred flights (not Cardens, but same tube and foam sheeted tail) and haven't had the slightest bit of play even after several hundred flights since using a set of flying wires. And I don't take a weight penalty either since it is the only thing I use to hold the tail on with (no other bolts/ hardware or L brackets).
I'm sure there are a lot of people on here that have not had any issues with this, it just lets me know that I won't have to spend time taping or clear coating my tube to get everything snug again ever.

32% Yak 54, DA100, no mix needed so far (four first flights today), great for IMAC, no wing rock in harriers.

Steve,

The plane looks good!
I see Jetero put in more concrete.

I'll be there for the IMAC in the Spring. See ya there.

Cant find any digital photo's of my 35% Cap, but here's my 5 other Carden Birds. I'll add another one to the fleet after I finish the 260 next month.

Here is a picture of my Extra 330, new for 2006. I wasn't able to put to may flights on it last year, that will change for 2007. It is a wonderful flying airplane. I don't have any pictures of my old but trusted Edge right now, but will try to locate some later.
