The Vertex is a low cost copycat, built by some former GS employees. If It runs anything like the cl-1 it will be ultra quick out of the hole and through the corners.

RE: GS XUT PRO Thread
Uhmm, VTX is just GS under a different name. Check out the warranty/shipping address. It's the same company. VTX is just GS's lower cost brand.
The XUT is a mugen clone with a different spur gear design. The mugen has the regeared diffs, so thereby it has the smaller spur gear. The GS still uses the 58T spur gear.
To be honest, after shopping a lot of RTR truggies, the CEN matrix tr rtr seems like a better buy in terms of standard features and looks. The body on the TR arena looks ten times better. For me It came down to the CEN and the GS for an RTR truggy. I went with the CEN. Though the radio is ok, the chassis rocks!!

I don't know. The design for this truggy has been passed around a lot. Himoto, GS Racing, Team VTX, and several other European brands all have the same truck design. GS Racing just added their labeled stuff.

This appears to be an outstanding truggy and only improving on the products they've currently offered....do you guys forget the original? Marty was kicken ass with it outta the box...I'd hate to think they jus added thier label to somebody else...then who started? They all look like this now. The GS SUT was one of the 1st...remember?

Is the XUT have the Pro version? If so, I am very disappointed. Wheres the CF, 5mm towers, thick univesals, and more...
That dosen't really look like a 5T either. More like a converted CL-1.

When I'm dreaming that is.
Back on topic, I think a truck looks like another when I see it and I think "That looks like a (enter name here)"

can i buy vtx parts for gs xut?
can i buy vtx parts for gs xut?
I do know that allot of the CL-1 buggy's parts fit the XUT and some Mugen MBX5T parts work as well.
