I am just getting into RC plane flying and have been looking around this great site at planes parts etc. What exactly is 3D flying. How is it different than "aerobatic" flight?

Status: offline 		OK! ... good idea to use video rather than to try to explain it with words.

A few years ago when I was just beginning to experience RC via electric parkfliers and was voracious in finding everything I could, I came upon this which still causes me no small measure of awe:

That routine with that little plane is as amazing to me as the 40% ers hovering in billowing smoke. It's art.
