So i can just buy 3 of those and they will work with the stock reciever and eveything? How much stronger are they than stock?

Those are the ones; I don't know exactly how much more or less torque they have, as helimax hasn't yet given any specs for their servos. But I doubt I'll strip an HS-55 as easily as one of the stock servos stripped. They fit perfectly and they will move in the correct directions with the stick inputs. Just read and follow page 11 of the manual about resetting the blade pitch (section called 'Servo Setup') after you've changed out the servos.

This site has some specs on the HS-55 Not much torque that is for sure. .16 in/oz. I'll bet the Helimax ones are even less.

Im guessing the reason most people are "stripping" their servos out are because they are trying to move the servos manually. this is the easiest way to ruin a mico servo. they are not meant to be moved by hand. I have to agree with wildchild. the only "problems" i have had have been self inflicted. the heli itself has been great. no defects from the factory, and i purchased mine the day after my LHS started stocking them. well take it easy guys.

UKIE, I believe you are mistaken about the HS-55 specs. These are the specs. according to Tower Hobbies.

at 4.8V
SPECS: Speed: 0.17 Sec at 60 degrees
Output Torque: 15.27 oz-in (1.1 kg-cm)
Weight: 0.27oz (7.8 g)
Length: 0.89" (22.8mm)
Width: 0.45" (11.6mm)
Height: 0.94" (24mm)

In defense to UKIE, I think the only thing he did was to supply a link that gave the specs. UKIE did not give any specs, he only supplied a link to where you can look for yourself. This is what I did, I followed the link and read it. Besides, in my humble opinion, I am not into correcting people here on the forum, I think it is distasteful.

Not to argue, but if you read his post he did. I'm not really trying to point out a mistake as much as make sure people get the correct specs. I personally don't even like Hitec products, but to each his own, and that's just my opinion. No offense was meant, and if it did, Sorry.

Tower is OK but sometimes the shipping is sloooow. I ordered this the Friday before New Years. Probably not the best time to have ordered it but if I had waitied they would have been out of stock like they are now. Then came the Tuesday after where nothing moved because of the holiday for Pres. Ford...

Oh well.. a few more hrs and I am home..

ALRIGHT, my blades and grips got here.Got them on, checked the tracking, and all is well. I think I'm going to take it to work tonight, where I will have plenty of room (at 21 bucks a pop it could get expensive here in the house). Just as soone as I get where I can control this thing well, I do plan on the battery upgrade.

Just a heads up on the AXE, i noticed under close inspection that my servos twitch under no controller movement. This is in the house, not sure if it has something to do with that. Also my main motor decided it was done so that quit. Contacted Tower and ill see what they have to say.

Couple things. Being too close with the transmitter will cause the servos to twitch also low battery will cause them to twitch with the transmitter on or off but the receiver on.
