dave,

I seriously hope you decide not to drop out. I have valued all your input to this thread, and feel you are a great resource. I'm sure crash wouldn't deliberately try to offend you as evident by his apology.

You are dropping out because someone was trying to show humor?? Look choppersrule, you are a valuable part of this thread and we enjoy your insight and knowledge. I for one don't believe there was anything typed in here that wasn't meant as a humorous jibe. We will hope that you continue on with us, I personally would feel a great loss at your refraining from joining in on our fun. Your posts and knowledge would be greatly missed!
Please reconsider.......... we need you !!

Sorry to all,

Just don't need that in my life. I'm a hardcase, born in a ghetto. Live by my own Code: " My Word is Good". I mentioned that I won't participate in this thread and thats it.

Sorry guys, take care and good luck to all,

Crash,

Sorry, I don't like someone being sarcastic. I take great offense to that. I'm done with this thread.

We all know what 3D is, just being sarcastic because we're all NOOB's here and it'll be a loooooong time before we're ready for the crazy stuff. We're just trying to achieve forward flight and "tail out" hovers LESS mechanical problems we keep encountering during the learning phase.

sorry to lose you Dave.....you will be missed............ but seriously, this thread is about enjoying what you do! And our ups and downs while learning, I know I am not here to be totaly serious all the time.......... friustration, and in my case Wild Turkey tend to post here too. Thats not a bad thing, we just all deal with our pains and issues in different ways.

Happy paths to you, feel free to remain...or jump in anytime.

On to business...STRANGE GLITCHING going on. Arrow...I re-routed the antenna, and I changed 4-1's (again!!!). Same symtoms. Possibilities:

* Charter Communications installed a box to handle cable TV/Phone/Internet
(this is the biggest change in the house)
*crystals getting weak?

*TX taking a dump?

I won't know till I get this bird out of the house

It only happens in prolonged hover and 3-5ft hovers. Not as noticable at 2-3" hovers.

Sheesh!

Well, thanks for everyones reply... I just bought the CP Pro and was thinking it would be less money for repairs in the long run if I bought this right off the bat. But, as long as it can do everything the stock CP Pro can do then I am good with that.

But, I do not consider myself a noob pilot by any means. I also have FS One and can hold a stable hover as well as do flips in any direction as well as fly it upside-down. I have not yet tried to do it in real life (haven't built up the nerve yet). So, I will let you all know when I get it and how well it performs and how many times I break it before sucessfully hovering upside-down. Thanks again everybody...

No on the power lines and I gotch on the batteries!!! I removed the factory setup for AA batteries and installed a NiCad pak off an old Futaba radio...solid green on the end bar. My batteries never need replaced because if I'm not flying...it's on the charger. Pretty good setup actually. I've been re-routing wires, playing with the pitch to decrease head speed just a tad...It all helps...a little. Gotta get this bugger outside away from the house and see if it helps any. If it don't, I've got other issues to deal with. Still a little too flakey to try tail out though. If I can get her to settle in with no glitching, I'm good to go. Been doing a lot of right stick hovers tonight and sometimes I get totally hands off for 3-5 seconds or so. The glitching is causing me to be overcautious and being careful...I dont want to CRASH again.

I like FS one quite a bit although I don't really know a whole lot about it yet. My dad has Great Planes Real Flight G.3, which is what I learned on and love. I had just heard people talking about FS One and thought I would give it a whirl. They are both great trainers. Of course, anything is that saves you hundreds and hundreds of dollars on replacement parts is probably a good thing...

Hey, FSOne question here (sorry probably wrong thread, but hopefully not). I use it to practice for flying my
