Scott, I have this same terrible problem. I've tried everything but I think it's in the trans pots. Crash posted awhile back about cleaning them to make the contacts better. I wonder when you sprayed the cleaner on the pots it just moved the debris and made the problem worse for the throttle stick. Maybe spray it again while moving the stick and see if it makes any changes.

Carl, I wish I had some suggestions but I've got nothing.

God Bless Y'all,

Jay

LMAO.......I have a suggestion. If it's a stock radio, get a Futaba EXH or a DX6. If you look, you can pull 'em for less than $150....radio probs are HISTORY

Dave.......... happy 33rd my friend!
Scott.............. if the only "glitch" before was forward and now it includes throttle too? That sounds alot like jacki's CP. Hers does the full throttle and full negative pitch. Check out the vid on youtube under my same nic as here. I have yet to find the reason for it doing so. My guess is that the TX is gone bad. Everytime i work on it.....i have no issues...........as soon as we take it out......it does the full throttle full neg thing again.
My next move is to set it up with my Futaba 6EX........ if that fixes it then I will know its not the RX side of the 4 in 1 but the stock TX. My clue is the full negative pitch when it glitches....... yours may be as simple as a dusty 4 in 1 on the inside. I took Jackis all apart and cleaned it....still same issue. I wish I had an answer for you. If you figure it out before I do....please post your fix and maybe you will actually be fixing 2 helis........instead of 1.

Ray 'ere,
My Dearly Beloved were only together for a mere sixteen years...a gentle Scottswoman frae Gallashiels. I met her here in Greensboro and we were married a year later on Christmas Day....high noon yet....'twas the only time we could get her college aged children together at the same time and place. She told me that "if you want to have fun, do it with good stuff."
I'm the only "kid on the block" with a $2K air rifle. Since she left, my model building skills have been of great therapy...and my music, too.
I consider myself extremely lucky to have these talents.
And you all as my friends even though we have never met. I live alone now and I'm not really a social person and sometimes the English accent can be a little intimidating to some. When they see the Railroad and my stuff it's kinda sensory overload time in the living room. There's always something unusual in sight. The kids love the big A105 Hammond and when it gets fired up together with its two Leslie speakers it rules the roost....such a beautiful sound. Nothing like mechanical tone generation. The Hammond is probably the finest addition to the musical instrument class ever. Such a pity it went away. Many have tried to emulate it but there's nothing like the real thing played by a real artist.
Enuf of my schtuff....Many congratulations from me to you, Choppers.
I read with interest of the radio glitches after swapping the AR system back to the standard gear and shaft for such were my circumstances. Weather has not been permitting for a couple of days but it did give me time to strip 'er down and polish up the drive shaft at the swashplate area and ultrasonic the swashplate itself. At least that part of the system is good to go. I haven't over used the TX but I have replaced the batteries so I'll have to wait and see what tomorrow brings.
Haven't had a reply yet to my questions of Jags regarding the HBK2....I asked him if it was possible to purchase a pair each with the brushless system. The parts included with his bare bones offering seem to indicate a "conventional" motor so I need to make sure I can get what I need and not have spare, useless motors hanging around. Kinda looking forward to working with a new machine....wonder how may new tools I'll have to make....I love it.
Well, 'tis gone midnight and I feel a little weary.
Goodnight Gentlemen,
Ray

RAYELJAY : It AMAZES me that the SIMILARITIES between us continue to pile up : BRIT - WIDOWER - 65 + - LIVE ALONE - MUSICIAN - ELECTRIC HELIS **** it is getting hard to believe.

CRASH-CRASH : now here I send 4 pics of the COMPONENTS of my next project. I remind you of your previous note : "just box them and send them up" THE QUESTION IS : are you
still interested in doing this project : it includes, the CP PRO, to be dismantled and cannibalized for the use of the BARE BONES HBK-2
2 - the BARE BONES, has been touched up with the roller guides for the belt and the CNC gear. the plastic internal box has already been upgraded to support the BELL canopy, all the instructions
are included.
3- the UPGRADED MOTOR purchased from JAG is included, it is the 3900 that FITS, - the GYRO can be taken off the CP-Pro
4 - I can send you also ONE 6100E receiver and if needed the DX- transmitter. There are TWO 6100E receivers here, still in the mailed box, unopened.
5 - the BELL canopy with the wonderful set of chinaman instructions, as shown in the pic.

WELL VIC, I hope you are still interested, it would be a MIRACLE to get this HONEYBEE KING -2 turned into a SCALE.
almost forgot, there is A LIGHTS set here, as well

DAVE : !
and LAST but definitely not LEAST : great GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT to celebrate 33years matrimony. I GUESS that when it WORK, " IT WORKS" DAVE !!! what I deduce from this is that
you must not be SUCH A DIFFICULT person as you tell us.......somebody (Liz) confirms my statement. WELL DONE and CONGRATULATIONS.
My lady left, just before our 40th anniversary.....so there's another. My stepDad who passed on Apr 14th inst. died the day BEFORE THEIR 50th (Gold ann.) some people are blessed with
a long married life, certainly not THE NORM !

POLL SUGGESTION/REQUEST :

as I finished typing the previos post , a thought that comes to mind all the time was forgotten:
I have been in the thread since FEB of last year. That was the time when I began trying to
fly these Electrics.
Y'all have seen my progress in flight ( mostly LACK of progress , in my opinion.)
because I post the films of what I do.
But what ARE THE REST OF THIS GROUP doing, about flying ? How much has EVERYBODY here
progressed with flying these helis ?
I can see that BRIAN, up in Canada, is already an EXPERT.....LOOKYJ has already gone beyond any of us.
If you remember JAMES WNUK up in Pennsylvania got to flying great, in a short time....B.T.W. What happened
to him ?
what about THE RADIO FLYER ? DAVE ? CRASH-CRASH ?
This is a POLL, and I would really really like to KNOW, exactly how SLOW I am in learning this skill.
Please respond, it would be interesting to KNOW
RICK

Response #1 <crashcrash> I am proficient at slow to medium speed forward flight. I can fly either side in all day long. If my equipment is working right, I can do some short "nose in's". I have not done a loop/roll/or gone inverted....I don't trust my equipment enough to try it even if I were 300 ft up (LOL). If my heli were 100% predictable....I'd try a loop/roll/and inverted. Until I get it where I'm comfy...it ain't gonna happen.
