What a big sweety and no offense but more photogenic as well Although it kind of looks like your trying to choke the life out of her and she's looking for help. Of coarse I never did very well with the ink blot test either

I hope your getting the most out of your vacation!

God Bless Ya Dave, BTW loved the bumper sticker email

Jay

Jay,

Yep, Shock-a is more photogenic. She's young, I'm OLD. Hit 62, in August. Holy Crap, but still having a ball.

Choking, na, she's a dream, and we have fun... Vacation is great, going slow, and relaxing from the work place. Lot's of flying time when I want. Of course there are HONEY DOOS, Liz (Mrs. Choppersrule) does have a list of stuff to do. NEVER ENDS!

No problem on the stickers.

Bless ya Jay,,,, Hey, need a couple pictures for an update...

Dave / Choppersrule

Update on my #5 Crash:

Both main blades broken.

Two rear servos, stripped gears.

Bent feathering shaft.

Luckily, I have spares of all.. But need to order more STUFF!

About a 50 buck mistake....

Crashcrash,

No Piro's, just dumb luck... Just one inch, and I'd be okay. LMAO... I have spares of all, including CF mains.

Extreme blades are next. I've got 3 bent feathering shafts to staighnten out. Last new one will go in tomorrow.

Think I'll fly the Lama V4 to relax.

Jay,

So do you use negative pitch at the top of the loop? Lookyj said you need to be in idle up mode but I'm wondering if you really do use negative pitch at the top? On the sim I didn't need to do so; just have speed and pull it up and over. That's why I was asking for sample stick inputs. Could you maybe think about how you or others do it and talk me through the stick inputs at various points in the loop? Then same for a roll too if possible?

Thanks!

Scott

Hey Scott I'd like to put my 2 cents in as well. It's very easy to loop a heli on the sim, yes. It's also very easy to loop a heli in real life it it has a good gyro to keep the tail straight. I found with the Blade that when I used a lot of +pitch to go into the loop that the tail would shoot 90 degrees and as it went inverted I added -pitch it made it even worse. At that point your flying out of a crash not making a pretty loop. If your CP+ holds well then just do it, I was surprised how much my fear held me back to find out later how easy something is. Like Jer said, do it will good altitude, in good sight , and good orientation.

Best of Luck and God Bless!

Jay
