Hey All, Rick, I hope all goes well with your new T-Rex, no substitute for their stability. Bob's video's are priceless, he's an amazing teacher. My parts showed up today First thing, Michael @ Ushobbysupply is awesome Great customer service! I decided to upgrade the motor first... I put the T-Rex tail fins on, too. First off: the motor, a Extreme Productions 4000kv brushless. Out of the box.... disappointment One of the wires immediately fell off, soldered but not a good connection. I setup to solder it back together and a second wire fell of I fixed both, re-shrink wrapped, and checked the third wire which seemed to be fine. before installing I did a run up and it worked. Installed the 10t align pinion and the tail rotors and went out to fly. It was a bit gusty today but not to bad. The motor is amazingly smooth and WAY more powerful than stock, I'll have to adjust the pitch trim because now it lifts off around 1/4 throttle I had a slight tail bob which I'll figure out as I go, something's to tight is my guess. At least the stock gyro is a half set up from the Blades 4-in-1. I have the Telebee HH gyro to throw on which I believe will be installed before the next battery pack. I'm having a darn good time playing with this chopper! It's like a super light T-Rex God Bless Y'all, Jay BTW, Vic ya gotta wait for the winds to die down with those Aerostars
