Ah...haven't been able to run the baja lately. The SB track seems ok and there's water there, too, to wet the track. Heard a rumor the other day that the track maintainer people don't want baja's there because someone was supposedly tearing up the track with his? What about the BC track - do guys meet out there with the fabled keyholders or something or do most wait for the open door events? Is finishline bigger now...can it handle a 1/5 scale?

Tigger - you got more cameraes? Holy smokes..

Sort of ironic since the most bajas I've seen at that track has been three. I also haven't ran mine baja since Turkey Day and I know one of the locals sold his baja. I'm also in regular contact with one of the people who regularily maintains the track and he hasn't mentioned anything to me about complaints at SB. The only problems I've ever heard about lately were from people complaining about how some don't want the track watered. Either way, it is still PUBLIC, not private.

I finally put my Baja back together after RCX, but I need to order a front arm and get a new body since I simply trashed the old body when I moved--the last time I checked, no front arms (though I could probably make a brace). The HPI tuned pipe is also installed though I've actually had it since RCX.

Finishline changes the layout every now and then, so you'd just have to check the layout. Regarding BC, there were several sets of keys running around though I'm not sure if you can call one of them and just run anymore. It used to be no problem with the QSARA members. There may actually be more people with keys now since more people are trying to keep the offroad track running monthly races.

Regarding cameras, I still only have three. I also haven't purchased anything new since when I was in LA after RCX. Last night, I took a few photos at the local indoor kart track since a few people I know where in town for the local hobby show and raced at the kart track afterwards. Perhaps, I'll put up some photos later.

just to let everyone know that asked for it. We will be running 8th buggy and truggy. It was something we left off for time, but enough people have asked for it, we added it.

Hi Tiger

My son and I are looking at traveling around to different tracks and seeing how we do. He has an 1/8 scale buggy and I have an LST. If we brought them to vegas, what would be a good place to run them? I see some of the trackes are specific to electric or larger scale or on road. There must be some place to run? By the way, your pictures are fantastic!! Keep it up.

Thanks for the compliments on the photos. My last outing wasn't R/C, but arena football. My next set????

As previously mentioned, the off-road track at the Silverbowl would be fine and it's free. Also this Saturday, the Boulder City track has racing beginning at 6pm. There will also be a class on set-ups at 5pm provided by Richard Saxton and Jason Ashton.
