I have a Showtime 50 and think its a beutiful plane and built well. I was wondering what the dif. in the wing profile is and why you did it and what it should improve? What other changes did you make and why? Also is there any videos of the 50 anywhere? Ive looked everywhere i can think of.

Firdst, there should be some vid on our web-site. I know we shot some a little while ago./ The wing la tapered less so there s more area, i.e.lower wing loading. I was going for a more floaty 3D feel than the 90 size ST. It also has a sub fin/rudder, though I dont really see much difference from that.

Mike, I really want the showtime 50 but have to wait till next week, but I am making plans on what engine to put in it I prefer a 4 stroke but cannot afford the saito's so would the Magnum fs71 work well in this plane?
    Thanks in advance

Thanks alot! It seems pretty windy that day. I think that video isnt going to do alot of selling in my opinion. I would remake it. Just my 2 cents. I know the plane is capable of more than that. U should get one up that has some hovering, harriers, H.A. KE's and maybe some spins. I thinks it would make it much more impressive. If I made one that you thought was good would you post it also? Thanks for your time!

I would like to by one of them. But which one ? I want the one that flies the best. Yes I know they both fly good but which will fly the best. I fly in 10 to 18 MPH winds at about 500 ft. above sea level .

Its really hard to say. The 90 is a better presision model, in part just because its bigger. The 50 is a little better 3D model mostly because it has more wing area for its size. There really isnt a concrete answer though.

I would like to know what spinner, adapter and prop did you use.
I'll be running the same combo, Saito .82 ST50

    Thanks a lot.

Question for Mike, or anyone with experience with this.
Am finishing up a showtime 50, and have decided to place a 91 saito up front. The stock engine mounts are a little over 1/8" to narrow. What is the best solution to this problem?
Have considered new mount or removing stock blind nuts and seperating them enough to fit the extra engine width. This could be a problem as the formers inside the front of the airplane are built with 2 of the blind nuts right behind a glued piece of wood. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Also, have any of you used the "rubber padded" engine mounts that supposedley dampen vibration/are they worth the extra cost?
    Thanks
    David

Im presently flying my st 50 with a O.S 46 AX with an 11-6 apc prop and it flys very well but no vetical performance. I'm going to install a Saito 91 ( overkill so I'm told But no sustitute for power) and the extra weight of the motor will be fine because I'm using about 3.5 oz of weight to balance the plane now. My question is what prop to use, help if it's out there please.
