Oh Darn !!!

It figures they would get it done now.
I'm about 2-week from finishing my 1/4 scale Balsa USA DR-1.
But the 50cc version might be worth looking into.
That should be about 1/3 scale.

Yes, make a plain streaked version and then we could take all of the details from there. That would be great.

Lots of Fokker Dr.I picts available at : FOKKER DR.I website

FA

Olive streaked over linen or turquoise, turquoise lowers, was factory finish on most of the 320 Fokker Dr.I's....first three, and a small handfull of others were different....makes about 310 or so for this scheme!

That is a great pic! I always get comments on my Streaked DR1 as to how "old" it looks. It seems very few know how these aircraft actually looked. Just please.....NO RED!

They look like they are made by two different mfg's. Engine mounting is not the same.

Not only that but the scallops between the ailerons from the Yellow/black that is in flight isn't the same as the one with the parts laid out on the floor. The scallops also aren't as pronounced on the wings that are on the floor compared to the one in flight. Maybe the picture of the one in flight was the proto.

It's still a nice looking plane but the scallops kind of diminish it a little.

Yes, a build thread gas or electic conversion would be interesting.
