For those of you that REALLY enjoy 3D and 50cc sized planes, if you're not on the list for one of the next shipment of these new version 2 Edges you're missing out. BIG TIME!!!! Everytime I take mine out I have more fun with it than the time before. It's absolutely a down on the deck type of plane that does it all and does it well. This thing is the most fun I've had since I discovered what you can do with girls. A lot cheaper, too

Tom, you really out did yourself with this one. Still need to move the hole for the tail gear back about an inch

How does one get on the waiting list?

Showing off and pushing the edge of the envelope. VERY low high alpha K/E behind the power curve and lower than the 18-24" fence posts on a tight field. I knew better but did it anyway. Repairable but gave the airframe to a club member in Oregon for them to play with later. My current location is not friendly for repairs and work facilities. Thankfully I'll be home next week and can get some work done on a couple of other planes.

This new version of the Edge performs so well and is so much fun to fly I knew it would happen eventually, which was why I had a second one on order shortly after flying it the first time. It let's you push yourself with a high level of confidence. It's just too good and too much fun!!!!

Finally got this plane dialed into perfection. I added a touch of right thrust and got the mixes adjusted and it is absolutely incredible. It will harrier with zero wing rock and does everything by the numbers straight, true and crisp. My confidence level has went through the roof and I'm planning on entering some competitions for the first time. I can't believe no one is publishing reveiews on this one, it would turn a lot of people (like me) who have struggled with crap into a good pilot. Also, I have had no issues with the landing gear or anything else for that matter. If you don't have one you don't know what your missing.

Sounds like you have all the information available to do that review. I'm sure all would appreciate the information and effort. Glad you like the plane. I foound mine to be the same and a real confidence builder, especially in the 3D catagory.

That's really the fundamental attribute of the Edge, it's a confidence builder.

It's the kind of plane that you can fly without worrying about anything except your own flying. It is capable of any type offlight, yet when you think you may be in trouble it just settles down very predictably.

With some planes flying the plane is the main activity of the pilot. With the Edge, you can get past flying the plane and move on to "using" the plane for something else. It's a subtle distinction, but flying R/C changes completely when the plane move from being a toy to being a tool.

One must be able to get the plane up and down with 100% confidence before you can move forward and start practicing the other moves you want to learn. This is what the Edge brings.

If you really want a great plane jump on Tom's package deal with the 3MM 53cc for this plane. I have one in mine and it's incredible!! Unlimited vertical and hovers at 1/3 throttle and the engine only has three tanks of gas through it. Engine really tucks in the cowl nicely too!!!
