I also just use Raovacc batteries does that effect the car at all?

Yes its a circle. THere should be a 1 mm opening on the side. Turn the idle screw then power up your controller and turn on car, dont start it and move your throttle. The opening should change. Yours sounds like it is open to far.

i'm having completly no luck!!!!!!!!!!! I just can't get it tuned right! I think i'm going to resale it. It's brand new i just have started it and stuff and drove it once which i didn't know how to drive so i stopped. Anyone want to buy it??????Please, it was my christmas present and that is all i got because it was so expensive, i don't want to have my only christmas present crappy and nonworkable so i would rather sell it and buy something that i will like...

you should learn how to tune the engine yourself, when the weather changes so does the tune, hot, cold, humidity and altitude change the tune of a motor, a hobby shop can tune it for you but it will need to be retuned again and again.

I heard an engine running like a week ago that sounded like a nitro engine so i went and took a look. A found a dude that has tons of nitro cars and helped me get it running and tuned now its running great except for the fact that i can only go like 10 or 20 ft. without it getting off on me. I also just burnt out a glow plug igniter so i just bought one of the D battery ones. Thanks for all your help! I'll post more forums if in have any more trouble.
