Hello Bob. Let me start out by saying thank you. I spoke to dubb on the phone twice
and he is the nicest person. My engine was delivered right on time like he said.(I only called
the second time to see when he shipped it)
I am putting this engine (sj90lx) in the New Cermarrk F-16 and I am using the metal spinner
and back plate that Cermark supplied with the one screw in the center. I need to get a prop
washer and nut.The spinner/nut that was supplied with the engine will not work.
What size thread is the shaft? and where can I get the nut and washer from if you know
Thank You

Thanks for writing. Always good to know folks are pleased with the service and the products

The prop stud threads are standard 5/16-24 threads ...... same as used for the OS61/91FX engines, ST60/90, and a number of other 60/90 size engines. Fairly standard hardware items. You should be able to find these at the local hobby store. And if desired Tru-Turn, Dave Brown and others offer spinners and spinner mounting kits for this size prop thread.
Examples....

If I am not mistaken, doesn't the Cermark kit supplied spinner come with the spinner mounting nut and hardware?

It has been a while since I build my F-16. I used a Tru-Turn spinner on it eventually.

Bob

hmmmmm...

ensure that the prop shaft stud is turn in far enough. It is removable/replaceable. Turn it in until it stops, then back it out a couple of turns.

Usually the problem is folks do not have enough shaft threads exposed to put a washer and nut in place (in which case you can back the stud out a few more turns).

With an 11x8 or 12x6 prop, you should be able to use the stock spinner hardware.
