I've never seen a bad review on the Fioroni clutches. I have the Turbo Twin on my Truggy and the standard turbo on my buggy. Shoes seem to really last forever. I just use the springs that came with each (only use two). The instructions suck (there aren't any) but they are easy to figure out. I have since found a pdf from Fioroni:

Fioroni Clutches Explained

I hate the maintenance of aluminum 3 shoe setups. No maintenance required on one of these Fioronis. I have also used Werks clutches and really like them as well.

I highly recommend these clutches.

A-Main carries all the CEN CF and CNC stuff and of course you can always get the CEN factory stuff from www.cenracingdirect.com.

The only place that I know of that carries the XTreme Racing Carbon Fiber towers for the CEN is Carolinas RC.
Carolinas RC
A-Main used to carry the XTreme Racing gear for the CEN but I don't see them listed on there any more.

Hey guys,i'm up for a truggy soon and have just been reading the thread as CEN is always the firstchoice for me and I already own 5 CEN models including Genesis,MG10 and MG16.I'm going to go the RTR route and sell the SH.28 and get a Go.25 6 port,I like Go engines and they are excellent value with good reliability.I already have a Go.21 in my buggy and am more than pleased with it.Great thread guys and great info too,I only bash and dont race so i'll upgrade as I go but front CNC knuckles are something i'll invest in.I have'nt read all the thread but will do as I'd like to learn as much as possible about any niggles that may need sorting but overall the truck looks great as per usual with CENs stuff.Cheers and i'll update when I make my final choice....

Hey Terminator. Glad to see you around here! CEN will be coming out with the new Matrix II soon. It will be different than the regular Matrix now. There really isn't anything you need to do out of the box. The Matrixes now are coming with a new and improved FM radio system, and cross pins, along with the SH motor you stated. To improve steering though, you can get the CNC knuckles. They are shaved down for more throw. The CNC bellcrank might also be a good idea, but not really necessary..I never had problems with stock.
Good luck with your choice!
Tom

You dont paint these wheels.... you dye them.

If you havent already glued the tires on...

1. Get some Black RIT dye (powder)
2. Bring a big pot of water to a boil
3. Drop the wheels in the water
4. Let them sit in the water for a minute or two
5. Stir in the dye and let it cook for another 5 minutes or so
6. Take it off the heat... let them sit for another 5 minutes or so in the water
7. Take your new black wheels out of the pot... put one per plate, serve with pasta or potato dish. Serves 4

e.

How can i dye the original wheels without damage the tyres? I'd like to have 4 black wheels like these: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=5410903 but my tires are already glued on

Hello from Italy, i'm a new member.

If you havent glued them then RIT dye works great and is very easy. I tried it and it came out great. If you have glued the tires then you are prob out of luck. Your best bet is to search EBAY for another set of rims. They are pretty cheap on EBAY. There are stock rims available for Hyper Truggy's Kyosho truggies etc... Good luck!

first day of racing with this truck and its horrible, (if you like going slow and breaking ). i took it to the track and tested it out last couple weeks and it felt very "hyper"ish after some mods to the steering, and i liked it. took it for its first race today and came in second behind the a local sposored cen driver. he and i were the only 2 that finished the race unscaved. i managed to break a lower arm during practice from a loose section of pipe sticking out about 2" but that was it for the day, no other problems. i ran the RB S3II and it was plenty to make the triple, heavy truggy? i haven't even started any lightening to it yet. good job cen, too bad about the bad rap for the earlier rtr's, i'm sold.
