I was doing a couple test runs at a nearby football field, enjoying how the back of the truck drifts around when turning till I made the mistake and took one of the turns too fast. I was turning left and the truck went up on it's two right wheels, I tried to save it by quickly steering right, but it slowly flipped on it's hood. It didn't even make one complete side flip. I was surprised I had lost steering from that small incident. I did change the steering servo though to a hitec servo and my shocks were set to the inner holes on the arms. It's still strange how it broke so easily, maybe it was the torque from the servo. Anyhow, Cen makes an aluminum replacement I will have to buy.

Part Number MXS41

Warning to RTR Arena owners, When taking out the 3x4mm grub screw in the axles be very careful. Seems like Cen used lock-tite on every single nut and screw on this truck. Now i'm left with an axle with a worn out grub screw head stuck in it.

Started taking it apart last night and cleaning up since I have to change diff oils. Here are some closer pictures for those intrested in buying an Arena.
Has any Arena owner test fitted the Matrix buggy dirt guards?
Well so far i've found that every screw that comes in contact in metal is guaranteed to have lock-tite. Although it's a good thing, I got caught off guard and messed up that grub screw.

yea that plastic piece breaks very easily i broke mine the first race with my truggy but i already got cnc on my truggy and buggy
it breaks cause the tires being forced by a servo while being held on the ground just puts to much presure on that piece so nyea get the cnc and you will never have anotherr problem with that

Well took my TR out this weekend and after about 2 hours of running it around the track the clutch started to slip. The stock shoes probably got glazed over, I have ordered the alloy replacement clutch shoes and will put those in. Also, as Mystikal8885 mentioned every screw has loctite on them, which is good I guess to prevent things from falling off. But people that like to run truggies are the ones that usually like to tear them down for maintenance. I had a heck of a time getting the motor out, they use red loctite on those screws, almost welded on. Just be sure the hex is clean and you use a good quality hex wrench. Still love my Arena, it handles so much better than my Race Revo or Kyosho US-Sport.

just a NOTE:would you rather have everthing fall apart your first run and think its a piece of crap,or even take every screw out when you get it and put loctite on it so you can have a good day of running or would you just want it to come rtr and stay together

Blade dont try to rub it in.....I am sure Cen doesn't give out CNC parts as replacements.
Anyhow, I need the part, between you and headrush who has it and the cost?

No Shark413, it's an aftermarket wing made by Himoto racing.
The stock wing is very strong, I just like the look of this one.

Mystikal8885, your car sure is clean. Looks like it just came out of the box. Here is my car after a day at the track.

It was a little muddy.

Cleaned off some of the crud.

This is why I was asking about the wing.

And here are the holes I cut in the body. With a new one to compare with.

Mystikal8885 , were you able to get the grub screw out? I had a heck of a time with the motor mounts and exhaust hardware, the screws are very soft and the loctite very strong, so I am a little worried about taking my hubs off.
