They work pretty darn good on the track if your track isnt too packed. Even on a hard pack surface they dig in pretty well and hook up. Our local track seems to water too much so when it is wet and gooey these really work and dont pack up.

I just finished the build on my Matrix Tr Arena. I love the fit and finish on this thing. Can someone give me a little diff advice? They feel real klunky right now and I have never shimmed diffs before. How do I do that? I know that they are LSD's but I dont race so I'm cool with em right now. I dropped in an LRP spec 3 w/JP-3 and airtronics rock crusher servos. Now If the damn snow will melt. I can't bring myself to get it dirty! Oh well. Off to bash the CRT. Thanks guys for all your input. Especially HEadrush and Blade and Dahlilama. Headrush, I ordered some goodies from you. The chick on the phone actually had a clue!! Nice. One more thing, 23mm is a pain in the ass. I ordered matrix wheels and now am hearing that my maxx size boas wont fit? Tell me it aint true. Thanks. Oh yeah. Got Mike from www.czech-it-out-graphics.com painting me up an evil lid for it. He does sick work! And as a bonus hes just 10 min from me. LTR

So the idea is to push the ring gear closer to the pinion? My LHS advised the opposite but that was without seeing it. Thanks

I need some advie on steering throw. I have a rock crusher servo so torque is not an issue and also the cnc servo saver. I seem to have alot more steering throw to the left than to the right. Is there a way I can change this? I adjusted my end point on my radio and 1 way is 100 and the other is like 76. I set it so it got max throw but didnt overstress the servo my going past max. Any advice?

Been a while since i've posted here. Anyhow, the my arena is holding up great and proving to be one super tough and race worthy truggy. I just got done painting a new lid, thought I would share it with you guys. I used spray cans to do this job, wish I had an airbrush though. What do you think?
