The ground handling was OK. The tail did bounce a little but not to bad. I did not need any extra weight with the XYZ-50. It balanced perfectly right at 21lbs and fly's great. i'll post some video as soon as I get it from my friend who took it Sunday. How is you P-40 coming. it would be great to get together am fly them. I have a 80" Zero on the why I hope to start build soon. My P-40 needs something to hunt.

hey jim, work has been slow. i had to totally re-work the radio/servo/air system because of how tail heavy it is. hope to fly wednesday then we leave friday for a warbird meet. i'm having to fly in primer because i still have alot of rivets to burn. still working out the exhaust to get it in the scale location. finally got the cowl where i'm happy with it, i just counted 35 flush mounted screws to hold the cowling on! i'll post some better pics in a few days. jeff

Here is the link to the maiden flight of my Skyshark P-40 with the XYZ-50. I hope it work for you all. I am not the best flyer and I was really nervous during the flight.

Just finished the P-40 and maidened it. All went well. The second flight got the camera man running, sorry about that Russ. I did mine as an electric conversion with a AXI 5345/16 on 12 cells. Swinging a 22/12 prop at 6000 RPM. These fly GREAT! Got this ARF over 2 years ago and after looking at all these flying I had to get mine out and assemble it. Happy I did. From Don Hofeldt out in Huntington Beach California.
First clip is the maiden,,,
