Status: offline 		Hi I have just got a Accu-Cycle Elite charger. I have also bout a battery Link to ebay bought battery if that link does not work then this is the ebay number 160067021941. The battery has a small white connector which I assume is for charging it. I have nothing like that with the charger, what sort of connection is it so I can find it so I can buy one for the charger or is it something else. Please help an idiot (i dont have a heil yet, still waiting so be patient with me). What do I do?

Status: offline 		I would suggest you go to the item you bought and ask the seller the question. What are the two plugs for, and which one is used for charging. Myself.......I'd take a volt meter and see which one has the voltage, and I'd change the plugs to whatever radio I'm using. I suspect that one of the plugs will go to the receiver and the other plug is used for charging. You can probably eliminate one of the plugs if you change the other to accept the plug on the switch you intend to use if you use a switch with built in charge receptacle. Still........the best thing would be to ask the supplier. Bob Laine

Status: offline 		The Elite charges thru the discharge (using) plug. The 2 wire plug.

The white connector is for cell balancing.

Status: offline 		The white connector is for using a balance charger or device to balance the cells.
The charger you have will charge it thru the deans (red) connector.

Status: offline 		Excellent thanks for that. So I thought I would plug it in and just see what it does (without any battery). I bought the charger from Canada so I used my travel plug popped it in and BANG! Now I will have to get a transformer aswell!

Status: offline 		You can charge two ways.
All three cells as a 3 cell LiPo pack or any two adjacent two wires on the white connector as a single cell.
Be careful of the polarity.

Status: offline 		Yes. That is what I use. To help make your batteries last longer you will need to get a balancer. I bought the Ultra-Balancer from Common Sense RC ( http://www.commonsenserc.com/product_info.php?cPath=38_29&products_id=184 ) and I like it. Works with all my batteries.

Status: offline 		You got a very good charger for the price. You dont have to use a balancer. I have batteries I have had for months (charged 60 or 70 times) and they still work fine and never been balanced. I just now started flying helis so my battery demand has increased (4 - 2cell, 12 - 3cell lipos). That is why I got the balancer.

Status: offline 		A Lipo battery has a number of cells. Each cell has a voltage of 3.2 volts or higher. From charging and discharging the voltage in the cells can get unbalanced. A balancer will identyfy the voltage of each cell and bleed off the higher voltage until they are equal.
